This huge and impressive glacier located 78 km from El Calafate has its origin in the Patagonian Ice Field. Its speed commute is 1.7 m. central and 0.45 m. at the edge.
It´s front wall has a length of 4 km approx. Despite advances and setbacks its been preserved the same since 1917.
